Remedial Massage

Remedial massage involves the use of soft and deep tissue massage techniques to help relieve muscle tension, aches and pains. Remedial massage is an exceptionally valuable tool in treating muscular dysfunction, which may be present in a variety of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Musculoskeletal Screenings

CB Physiotherapy offers comprehensive whole-body musculoskeletal screenings. These are appropriate for those returning to or commencing exercise, for those who have had several niggles which have never been properly assessed, or for anyone who just wants a complete check-up of their physical health.

Screenings involve:

  • Detailed questioning regarding your injury/medical history, training/physical activity habits and goals.
  • A comprehensive whole body physical examination.
  • A thorough discussion (and education) regarding any identified areas of concern which may be causing injury, which may lead to or increase your risk of injury, or which may have an impact on your training or your training goals.
  • Recommendations, as well as the prescription of a prehabilitation/rehabilitation exercise program.
