Although we do accept referrals from GPs, personal trainers and other health care specialists, physiotherapists are primary practitioners, and thus a referral is not a necessity. Regardless, we will always endeavour to work closely with your doctor/trainer/coach/specialist to collaboratively achieve the best possible outcomes for you.
We have HICAPS available for on the spot private health insurance claims. We also accept both EFTPOS and cash payments.
As a registered Medicare provider, CB Physiotherapy can also provide a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management plan if you have any musculoskeletal condition that has been (or is likely to be) present for 6 months or longer. If you believe you may be eligible, speak to your GP for more information (a GP referral/care plan is required).
CB Physiotherapy is also a registered WorkCover and TAC provider.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
At CB Physiotherapy, we ask that clients make every effort to keep their scheduled appointments, to avoid having to turn other clients away when fully booked.
It is expected that if a client cannot keep an appointment, a minimum of 12 hours notice is given.
If less than 12 hours notice is given (or appointment is missed), the full consultation fee will apply. In this event, full payment is required within 48 hours of given appointment.
This policy ensures that should you be unable to attend, other clients can be treated in your scheduled appointment time. It also ensures continuity of treatment and a faster recovery.
This policy relates to all clients irrespective of their method of funding (eg. Private, TAC, WorkCover, Medicare etc.).
