A SIMPLE & EFFECTIVE RECOVERY STRATEGY

 

Looking for an easy but effective method of recovery after exercise?

Try a pair of skins, or any similar compression garment.

 

A recently published review of the literature found compression garments to be effective in recovery from resistance exercise, as well as from endurance exercise – improving the restoration of both strength and power (Brown et al., 2017).

 

The exact timing or recommended usage of compression garments for the most positive outcomes remains unclear in the literature. However simply sleeping in your skins the night after training, a long run or a sports match anecdotally proves to be quite effective.
